Clarence Everet Courtney, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Courtney, was born at Harden, Ill. June 20, 1913, and died February 9, 1914; aged 7 months and 21 days.

The family had only recently moved into the community east of Wapello and are comparative strangers to everyone, which makes the death of little Clarence seem doubly sad.

But in the abundance of our Saviours love were found among the good people of that neighborhood kind hearts and willing hands to sympathize and minister in every way that tender pity could suggest.

The little one was laid to rest in the Mallory cemetery. A short service was held at the home of J.R. Hammond.

These people have the sympathy of every Christian heart.
