Kenneth Dallmeyer dies

Kenneth Madison Dallmeyer, 75, died on December 18, 1988, at the Veteran’s Hospital in Iron Mountain, Michigan, after an extended illness.

Mr. Dallmeyer was born on February 25, 1913, in Concord Township, to Lewis and Gertrude Dallmeyer and spent his youth on their farm near Columbus Junction. He married Frances Getto November 30, 1941, of Chicago, Illinois. He served overseas in the United States Air Force during World War II. After the war, in 1949, he purchased and operated a dairy farm near Antigo, Wisconsin, until his retirement in 1972 when he moved into Antigo.

Surviving are one son, Jon; one daughter, Trudy; granddaughters Lisa and Michelle; and grandson, Jeremy, all of Antigo; three sisters, Lois Lowe, Muscatine, Lola Tremont, Wauconda, Illinois, and Helen Thompson, Grandview; two brothers, Lewis of Columbus Junction, and Carl of Washington.

Preceding him in death were his wife, parents, three brothers, and two sisters.

Services including military rites were held at 11 a.m. on December 21 in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Antigo. Burial was in Queen of Peace Cemetery in Antigo.
