A memorial service for the Rev. Donald C. Bissinger will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at the United Methodist Church in Wapello with the Rev. Harlan W. Winter officiating. Music will be provided by Sandy Winter as the organist and Chuck Bissinger as the vocalist. Memories will be shared by the sons, Stan, Chuck and Paul. Burial of the cremains will follow at the Harrison Cemetery.

Rev. Bissinger was 88 years old when he died on Feb. 10, 2001, at Lee's Summit, Mo. He is survived by three sons, Paul Bissinger of Clive, Chuck Bissinger of Kennett Square, Pa. and Stan Bissinger of Minneapolis, Mn., along with four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. His wife Isabelle (Mateer) had preceded him in death.

The Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello is providing the care and arrangements.
