Isabelle I. Bissinger, 82, of Village Care Center, Lee's Summit, Mo. died of stroke complications there on Monday, July 13, 1998. Services held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 16, at Langford Funeral Home in Lee's Summit, with viewing starting at 9 a.m. Burial will be at 5 p.m. Thursday in Harrison Cemetery near Wapello, Ia.

Mrs. Bissinger was born in Huron, S.D. She was a homemaker and served with her husband, the Reverend Donald Bissinger as Pastor's wife in the United Methodist Church at Orient, Bagley, Waukee, Wellman, Albia, Atlantic, Jefferson, Shenandoah, and LaPorte City, IA.

Surviving are her husband Donald of Lee's Summit, MO; three sons, Paul of Clive, IA., Chuck of Port Allen, LA, and Stan of Minneapolis, MN; three brothers, Elwin Mateer of Vista, CA, Ted Mateer of El Cajon, CA, and Chuck Mateer of Belle Fourche, S.D.; and four grandchildren.
