Earl Edward Berry, age 79, Morning Sun, died Tuesday April 27, 1993 at the Burlington Medical Center.

The son of William and Merle (Brown) Berry, he was born September 24, 1913 at Roscoe, Iowa.

On August 31, 1940 he married Ila Eunice Hutcheson near Morning Sun. He grew up and went to school in the Yarmouth area. He was a member of the Sharon Reformed Presbyterian Church. Earl was a retired farmer and enjoyed fishing and boating.

He is survived by his wife of Morning Sun; 1 daughter Marilyn Berry of Chicago, Illinois; 1 son William Berry of Kansas city, Missouri; 1 grandson and 1 great-grandson; 2 sisters, Hazel Kiker of Santa Rosa, California; Wilna Wunnenberg of Sanford, Florida; 1 brother Lloyed Berry of Wyoming, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Friday April 30, 1993, at 2:00 p.m. from the Sharon Reformed Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Robert Schmidtberger officiating. Interment will be in the Sharon Church Cemetery. Hagele and Honts Funeral Home, Morning Sun, was in charge of arrangements.
