Services held for Lucille Berodt on Tuesday, July 21

Services were held Tuesday, July 21, for Lucille M. Berodt, 68, Davenport, at Runge Chapel with Rev. J.R. Christensen of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Davenport officiating.

Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Melvin Doerscher, Lud Tornquist, Bob Adrian, Glen LaFrenz, Ross Firck and Melvin Wulf.

Mrs. Berodt died Friday, July 17, at her home following an extended illness.

Lucille Sinksen was born May 17, 1913, at Long Grove. She married Roy Berodt in 1932 in Davenport. He died in 1965.

She was employed at Oscar Mayer Company before retiring.

Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Berodt and Mrs. Donald (Sharlene) Paul both of Davenport and Mrs. Forrest (Nancy) Brown, Columbus Junction; two sons, Stanley of Davenport and Alvin of Bettendorf; nine grandchildren; and four sisters, Rose Siercks of Westchester, Illinois, Mrs. Walter (Lillian) Dietz, Walcott, Amanda Jensen, Huntsville, Alabama, and Mrs. Frank (Marvel) Snyder of Dixon.
