Private family graveside services for Diane L. Bernius, 49, of Columbus Junction, Iowa, were held Saturday, December 10, 1994, at 10:30 a.m. at the Sheridan Cemetery, Mt. Union, Iowa with the Pastor John Helmuth officiating. Honts Funeral Home, Winfield, was in charge of the arrangements.

A general memorial has been established.

She died at her home Wednesday, December 7, 1994.

Diane L. Hangartner was born February 18, 1945, the daughter of Edward and Elsie Anliker Hangartner at Eureka, Illinois. She married Stan Bernius on June 6, 1967, in Springfield, Illinois. Diane was a homemaker and of the Prostestant faith.

Survivors include her husband, Stan, of Columbus Junction; one son, Brian Bernius of Wilton, Iowa; and one sister, Marilyn Jane West of Eureka, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Helen Seggerman Raynor.
