Pauline Willson Blick, 78, of Washington, Iowa, died Friday, August 22, 1986 at the United Presbyterian Home. She had been in failing health since April.
Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Eden Funeral Home with the Rev. Edwin Hancock officiating. Burial was in Elm Grove Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established for the United Presbyterian Home.
Pauline Willson was born December 5, 1907 at Winfield, the daughter of Oliver Lynn and Tillie (McElhinney) Willson. She graduated from Morning Sun High School and from cosmetology school in Des Moines.
She married John J. Blick on July 18, 1931 at Morning Sun. He preceded her in death in 1978. She lived most of her married life in Washington County.
Mrs. Blick owned her own cosmetology shop and operated it until her marriage to Mr. Blick. She was employed for 23 years with the hot lunch program in the Washington school system.
Mrs. Blick is survived by two daughters, Mary Joann (Mrs. James) Wolfe, Phoenix, Arizona, and Marlene (Mrs. Richard) Anderson, Washington; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a brother, John Caldwell, Morning Sun; and a sister, Betty (Mrs. Allan) Lucas, Crawfordsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, step-father and two brothers.
