John G. Boden Called By Death

John G. Boden, 76, of 119 East Fourth Street, West Liberty, died at 5 a.m. Saturday shortly after being admitted to Mercy hospital in Iowa City.

The son of Thomas and Ella Boden, he was born August 12, 1890 at Cairo, Iowa, and resided at Wapello before moving to West Liberty in 1919. A World War I veteran, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge, K of P lodge and the American Legion.

Mr. Boden was the owner and operator of an Insurance and Real Estate Business which he began in 1941.

Survivors include his wife and four sisters, Mrs. Lorena Martin of Winfield, Mrs. Edna Paxson of Wapello, Mrs. Mina Creelman of Mediapolis and Mrs. Letha Hall of Washington. Two sisters are dead.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Snider funeral home in West Liberty with Rev. Robert Reynolds officiating. Interment at Oakridge cemetery.
