Betty Boline, 64, of Morning Sun, died Friday, May 24, 1991 at the Morning Sun Care Center.

Born Sept. 15, 1926, at Prairie Grove, she was the daughter of Walter and Mary Jackson Wasson. She married Carl William Boline March 18, 1943, at Kahoka, Mo. He died Nov. 24, 1974.

She had worked at the Morning Sun Manor and delivered items for community service. She was a graduate of Sperry High School, a member of the Morning Sun United Methodist Church and attended the Morning Sun Senior Citizens group.

Surviving are three daughters, Betty Marks, Morning Sun, and Virginia Adkison and Mary Boline, both of Burlington; six sons, Harold Boline, Richard Boline, Robert Boline, Danny Boline and Roger Boline, all of Morning Sun; two sisters, Mrs. Anna (Leo) Norman, Galesburg, Ill., and Mrs. Bonnie (Donald) Bowers, Morning Sun; three brothers, Melvin Wasson, Burlington, Russell Wasson, Dallas, Texas, and Dale Wasson, Charleston, S.C.; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The service for Mrs. Boline was held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Morning Sun, with the Rev. Nancy Kaye Skinner and Rev. Tom Zeleny officiating. Music was provided by Odetta Taeger, organist, and Placelia Robinson, soloist. Honorary bearers were Lester Lee, Fred Goudie, Tom Bryant, Floyd Dean, Robert Heater, and Bill McElhinney. Casket bearers were Harold McElhinney, Rube Griffith, Loyal Hewitt, Joe Truitt, Doug Lee, and Richard Zachmeyer. Flower attendents were Madge and Marian Minnis. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Morning Sun.

A general memorial has been established. Hagele and Honts Funeral Home, Morning Sun, was in charge of the arrangements.
