Janet Yvonne Bennett, formerly of this community, passed away July 28, 1991, at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento, California, after an extended illness.

She was born July 3, 1936. Survivors include her husband, Orange Bennett; daughters, Pamella Snyder and Sonya Bennett, all of Sacramento; one son, Michael Snyder of Fresno, California; a brother, Jack Allen of Middletown, Connecticut; and three grandchildren.

The body was cremated. No memorial services have been planned at this time.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Elsie Allen, and a sister, Phyllis Roundy.
