Miles Bell, 83, of Crawfordsville, died Wednesday, April 4, 1990, at the Sunrise Terrace Care Center in Winfield.

Born Sept 4, 1906 in Morning Sun, he was the son of Thomas and Jesse Heuitt Bell. He was a graduate of the Mount Union High School and attended Geneva College in Bever Falls, Pa.

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Morning Sun, the Moose Lodge and the National Rifle Association. He was a retired farmer and had lived on the family farm near Morning Sun until 1979, when he moved south of Crawfordsville.

Surviving are one sister, Cecile Kongable, Sunrise Terrace Care Center, Winfield; one niece and three nephews.

Services were Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield, with the Rev. James Edwards officiating. Burial was in the Winfield-Scott Township Cemetery.

A memorial has been established.
