Mrs. Susan Beik Called By Death

Mrs. Susan Elizabeth Beik, died at the Hershey convalescent home in Muscatine at 1:40 a.m. September 3, 1956.

Mrs. Beik, a pioneer resident of Lousia County, had been a resident of the home for about a year.

She was born March 3, 1871, at Grandview and was a life resident of Louisa County. She was the daughter of John Oliver Zimmerman and Mary Anna Gipple Zimmerman.

She was married to Charles Frederick Beik April 21, 1909. He preceded her in death nine years ago.

Surviving are three brothers, Charles and Bert Zimmerman, both of Grandview, and Dallas Zimmerman, 105 West Fifth street, Muscatine.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Dudgeon Funeral home with the Rev. John Loggans, pastor of the Grandview Community church, officiating. Burial was in the Grandview cemetery.
