Arthur Edmond Bayne, 84, a retired farmer from Wapello, died Monday, February 26, 1962 at 9:30 p.m. at Burlington Hospital. He was born November 27, 1878 in Louisa county to William and Julie Bayne. He married Irene Carr who died November _7, 1932.

Survivors include children, Leroy Bayne of Wapello; John Merlin Bayne of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Mrs. Ruth Neal of Largo, florida; 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Cassabaum, Columbus Junction.

Funeral services were held at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello Thursday afternoon with burial in Wapello cemetery.
