Florence L. Baughman, age 87, of Clinton, Iowa died Friday, January 21, 2005, at the Alverno Health Care Facility. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday January 26, 2005 at the Pape Funeral Home with the Rev. James Machen officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Florence was born on August 5, 1917 in Muscatine, Iowa the duaghter of Frank and Bertha Bailey Kenworthy. She married Gene Baughman on February 13, 1932 in Rock Falls, Ill. Gene died in 1975. Florence was a private in-home caretaker. She enjoyed taking friends for car rides, crocheting, gardening, dancing and taking photographs. Florence was a member of the American Legion Post #100 Auxiliary in Columbus Junction, Iowa.

Florence is survived by three daughters; Mrs. DeLores (Howard) Reedy of Clinton, Mrs. Beverly (Kenneth) Lorack, of Columbus Junction, Iowa and Mrs. Lucy (John)Leibert of Camanche, Iowa; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; two great-great granchildren; a very special friend, Lloyd Clark of Clinton and a sister-in-law, Tommye Kenworthy of Naples, Florida. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Charles, a sister Zula, a half sister, Evelyn, a son-in-law, Howard Reedy and a grandson, Merle Reedy on January 7, 2005
