Jodi Ann Batenhosrt, age 36, of Muscatine, died Tuesday, November 15, 1994, at Muscatine General Hospital following a year-long illness.

Services will be held Friday, November 18, at 10:30 a.m. at Wesley United Methodist church, Muscatine.

Visitations are set from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Nichols Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Muscatine, and from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the service at the Church.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society and Kalona United Methodist Church Building Fund have been established.

Peterseim Funeral Home, Kalona, and Nichols Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Muscatine, are in charge of arrangements.

Jodi Ann Humiston was born November 21, 1957, in Davenport. She graduated from L&M High School and Bellview College, Bellview, Nebraska. On December 10, 1983, she married Michael Batenhorst. They lived in Creston and Kalona pror to moving to Muscatine in 1994.

Jodi was employed at Bankers Advertising, Iowa City, as a sales assistant.

Survivors include her husband, Michael; two daughters, Ali and Emily, at home; mother and stepfather, Jean and William Brauns, of Wapello; father and stepmother, Fred and Judy Humiston, of Letts; three brothers, Scot and Doug Humiston, both of Letts and Tony Humiston of Columbus Junction; two sisters, Mrs. Rocky (Judi) Phillips of Letts, and Mrs. Jeff (Juli) Bean of Muscatine; grandmother, Pauline Humiston of Wapello; and ten nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two grandfathers and one grandmother.
