LOCAL WOMAN DIES WEDNESDAY
Death Follows Illness of Several Months

Death came Wednesday of last week to Mrs. T.J. Callahan who had for some weeks been critically ill at the Ross nursing home here. Her mother, Mrs. Edith Swan, passed away only three weeks ago. Mrs. Callahan lived for just 9 days past her 67th birthday. She was born on a farm near Morning Sun and with the exception of one year, she spent her entire life in this community. Until she was stricken some months ago Mrs. Callahan had devoted much of her time and energy in the care of her mother who had made her home in recent years with Mr. and Mrs. Callahan.

Funeral services, in charge of Rev. O.L. Byrns, were held at the First Presbyterian church last Friday afternoon at three o'clock.
