Mrs. Emma Westfall Dead
Formerly a Resident of Morning Sun.

Mrs. Emma Westfall, 88, formerly a resident of Morning Sun, died Saturday evening at a Davenport hospital following an attack of bronchial pneumonia.

Mrs. Westfall was born near Pleasant Grove on April 22, 1887. She was married to Robert Westfall who died in 1924. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. E.J. Gadient, with whom she made her home in Davenport and Mrs. Oscar Gallup, also of Davenport; one son, Fred of Peoria, Ilinois; one granddaughter; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Morning Sun Methodist Church in charge of Rev. R. Vernon Pike. Mrs. L.C. Rohfing and Mrs. Charles Ivins sang. Pallbearers were Dave Kerr, James Kerr, Virgil Kerr, Tom Delzell, Basil Kerr and Junior Kerr. Burial was at Elmwood cemetery.
