Memorial services for Eunice Barry, 77, Dickinson, North Dakota, were held at 7 p.m. Sunday, July 4, 1999, at First Congregational-United Church of Christ, Dickinson, the Rev. Peggy Harris officiating.

Interment will be held in Wapello, Iowa.

Eunice Barry died July 3, 1999, at St. Luke's Home, Dickinson.

Eunice Pettis was born on February 6, 1922, in Wapello, Iowa to Benjamin and Marjorie (Chace) Pettis. She earned a BS in Sociology at the University of Iowa and was a certified nurse at the University of Iowa Psychiatric Hospital.

She married in 1948 and raised four children.

She loved her friends, relatives, bird-watching, knitting, crafts, playing bridge and traveling. She touched the heart of everyone she met.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church-United church of Christ.

She is survived by two sons, Christopher, Renton, Wash., and Brian, Fairfax, VA; two daughters, Janice, Los Angeles, Calif., and Barbara Barry, Dayton, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
