Geo. Owens Dies in California
FUNERAL HELD FOR FATHER OF LOCAL WOMAN

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon for the late George Owens who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. James Honeyman, in Pasedena, California. The body, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Congable of Mulvane, Kansas, arrived in Morning Sun Wednesday and was taken to the Howard Buster home. Mrs. Buster is a daughter of the deceased. Brief services were held at the Buster home followed by services in the United Presbyterian church with Rev. Caleb Larson, pastor of the Grandview Community Church, in charge. Burial was at Elmwood cemetery.
