Mrs. Zella Rebecca Anderson, 82, of Crawfordsville, died April 21, 1987, at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City.

Services will be held Friday, April 24, at 10:30 a.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Chapel with Rev. Dennis Johnson officiating. Donna Belle Hughes will be organist and Brian Cummings, the soloist. Casket bearers will be Terry Anderson, John Anderson, Don Anderson, Arnold Jennings, Cecil Linder and Darrell Anderson. Burial will be in the Winfield Scott Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening with the family present from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A general memorial has been established.

She was born April 9, 1905, in Crawfordsville, the daughter of William and Bertha Summers Harter. She married Chalee Anderson March 4, 1930, at Burlington. They had farmed and later after moving to Columbus Junction, she and her husband were custodians at the Columbus Junction State Bank for several years. After retirement, they had moved to Crawfordsville. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her husband and one daughter, Billie JoAnn Rose of Crawfordsville; two grandchildren, Joi and Kevin Rose and her step-father, Fred Aringdale of Columbus Junction.

She was preceded in death by parents and one brother, Harold Harter.
