Glenn S. Adams, 73, former Ainsworth resident, died January 6, 1966 in Grand Island, Nebraska. He had been a patient at the Veteran's Administration Hospital for the past two years.

The funeral services were held Saturday, January 8th at 2 p.m. from the Jones Funeral Home, Washington with the Rev. Vernon Elgin in charge. Burial in the Elm Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Adams was born May 25, 1892 at Ainsworth, a son of John E. and Della I. Rickey Adams. He was reared in the Ainsworth community and had been employed in Chicago at Inernational Harvester Co. for a number of years.

He served on the border in 1916 and was a Veteran of World War I, entering service at Washington with Company K. first Iowa Infantry then transferred to Camp Cody, New Mexico assigned to 133 Infantry 34 division. He landed overseas October 24, 1918 and was discharged in 1919 at Camp Dodge.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. W.H. McConnell, Washington, Mrs. Harry Rabenold, Montezuma and Mrs. Ralph Morris, Columbus Junction and a number of nieces and nephews.

Casket bearers were members who served with his Company K., Clyde Carey, Harry Church, Harold Edmondson, Earl Wood, Dale Dennison, and George Oakes.
