Phillip F. Acsencio, 75, Rt. 1, Columbus Junction, died Tuesday, January 5, at his daughter's home in Fredonia.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Fairbanks-Lamb Chapel. The Reverend Thomas Gehlsen officiated. Burial was in Greenwood
Cemetery.

The son of Felipe and Maria Flores Acsencio, he was born May 28, 1906, in Mexico. His marriage to Edith Doak took place January 25, 1939, in Muscatine. He was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Acsencio had been employed at GPC for 24 years until his retirement.

Survivors include one son, Charles Doak of Muscatine; five daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Margarita) Earll of Washington, Mrs. Jerry (Phyllis) Schmelzer of Grandview, Mrs, Richard (Clara) O'Loughlin of Columbus Junction and Lavine Doak and Mary Spitznogle, both of Muscatine; 23 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife and one son.
