Leonard THOMAS Called By Death June 19

Funeral services for Leonard THOMAS, 73, of 1906 Houser Street, Muscatine, were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Riley Funeral Home, with Rev. J. Paul Stevens officiating.

Mr. THOMAS died Friday, June 19, 1970, at Muscatine Hospital after a short illness. Born December 21, 1896 he was the son of James and Cora CROSE-THOMAS. He was married to Anita CARNEY of Conesville.

He is survived by two daughters, Geraldine of Los Angeles, Calif., Margaret of Rock Island; three brothers, Lester of Muscatine, Harold (Guy) of Rock Island and Ralph of Phoenix, Ariz.; one sister, Mrs. Harold (Fern) NIETZEL of DeWitt and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son in infancy and one sister, Velma.
