Mrs. Fred RIEDESEL Died Sunddenly

Mrs. Fred (Ethel) RIEDESEL, 58, passed away suddenly at 1:45 p.m. Friday, June 15, 1962 in St. Luke's hospital, Davenport.

She was born December 18, 1903 at Columbus Junction to Willis DILLER and Delica WARNSTAFF and was married to Fred RIEDESEL in Davenport on April 18, 1931.

They retired from a farm near DeWitt about a year ago and purchased a home in Wheatland where they have since resided.

The RIEDESELS have made many friends the short time they have lived in Wheatland.

Mrs. RIEDESEL was a member of the Ladies Aid of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland.

Surviving include the husband, one daughter, Mrs. Wayne DRUMMOND of Donahue; two grandaughters, Barbara and Cherly DRUMMOND of Donahue; four brothers, William DILLER of Columbus City, Ransom DILLER of Davenport, Roy DILLER of Letts, and Harold DILLER of Fredonia; three sisters, Violet COLVIN of Wapello, Helen and Dorothy DILLER of Fredonia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Funeral was held Monday at 1:3 p.m. CST at St. Paul's United Church of Christ with Rev. Harold Koenig officiating. Burial was in St. Paul's cemetery.

The Male Chorus sang with Miss Wilma RIEDESEL at the pipe organ.

Pallbearers were Leon Strackbein, Fred Kroh, Erich Strackbein, Melvin Witte, Theodore A. Schneider and Melvin RIEDESEL.

In charge of flowers were Mrs. Erwin Martins and Mrs. Mae Keith.
