Funeral Rites For Mrs. Lorain LUKENBACH

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Marie LUKENBACH who died Monday morning April 23, 1962 at her home at Tuscon, Arizona were held Friday afternoon, April 27th at two o'clock at the Columbus Junction Methodist church with the Rev. Robert Parris officiating.

The entire front of the church was banked with flowers as a tribute to the esteem of many friends.

Organist was Mrs. Richard Nelson, vocalist was Mrs. Robert Fulton who accompanied by Mrs. Nelson on the organ sang: "Beyond the Sunset" and "The Lord's Prayer."

Flower attendants were Roberta Bell, Donna Williams, and Ruth HENDRICKSON.

Casket bearers were Leslie Clevenger, Jerry Bell, Nile Jones, Donald Williams, Guy Enke and Kenneth Swailes.

Burial at Columbus City cemetery under the direction of the Duncan Funeral Home.

Anna Marie HENDRICKSON was born at Wilton Junction, Iowa, May 8, 1908 and was aged 53 years, 11 months and 15 days. She was the daughter of Lawrence P. and Matilda HINRECHSEN. The family moved to Columbus Junction early in her life and she was united in marriage here to Lorain L. LUKENBACH, January 4, 1928. They owned and lived on a farm northwest of Columbus Junction until about ten years ago when they moved to Tucson, Arizona, for the benefit of Mr. LUKENBACH'S health and that has since been her home.

She was a member of the Columbus Junction Methodist church.

She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Phyllis RICKLEFS of 2015 Eaton Avenue, San Carlos, California and one son, Lt. Max LUKENBACH of 1062 Portola Drive, Monterey, California; also by two grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. Matilda HINRICHSEN who is making her home at Restopia and by two brothers Wm. HENDRICKSON of Columbus Junction and Herman HENDRICKSON of Keosauqua.

Out of state friends and relatives including her daughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. James RICKLEFS from San Carlos, California and Lt. and Mrs. Max LUKENBACH from Monterey California were here from Tucon, Arizona; Superior and Madison, Wisconsin; Pueblo, Colorado; Silvis, Joy and Avon, Illinois.
