Earl LOWE, 74, dies Saturday in Iowa City

Earl Bolon LOWE, 74, of Crawfordsville, died Saturday, February 6, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Services were Tuesday, February 9*, at the United Church of Crawfordsville with the Reverend Harlan Winter officiating. Burial was in the Crawfordsville cemetery, under the direction of McKasson-Honts Funeral Home.

Mr. LOWE was born October 23, 1907, near the Marsh comunity east of Winfield to Clarence and Nina BOLON-LOWE. He married Ina Mae Walker on August 7, 1943, in Davenport. She died in July of 1965.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the United Church of Crawfordsville.

Surviving are: two sons, Wayne of Columbus Junction and Allen (Jigger) of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Mike (Patricia)Klopfenstein of Wilton; four granchildren; three brothers, Harold (Bud) and Robert, both of California, and Lyle (Dude) of Crawfordsville; three sisters, Mrs. Don (Maxine) Miller of Olds, and Mrs. Cleo (Arlene) Fletcher and Mrs Cleo (Betty) McCoy, borth of Crawfordsville; and his father-in-law, Earl Walker of Crawfordsville.

He was preceded in death by his wife and a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Bernice) Kettles.
