Mrs. Mattie Marie Cocklin, 86 died March 19, 1986, at Valley View Manor, Muscatine.

Services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello, with the Rev. Harry Gates officiating. Burial was in the Grandview Cemetery.

She was born January 12, 1900, in Grandview, a daughter of William and Ida Wade McGill. Except for a few years when she lived in Muscatine and Wapello, she was a lifetime resident of Grandview. Her first marriage was to Floyd McGill. She later married Glen Scott who died in 1959. She married George Cocklin who died in 1980.

Mrs. Cocklin attended the Cedar Street Church of God in Wapello.
