Violet Mae Davis, 87, of Crawfordsville, and formerly of Columbus Junction, died Sunday, Feb 19, 1995 at home.

Born May 4, 1907 in Columbus Junction, she was the daughter of Egebert and Magdalena Blankenhorn Shellabarger. On Aug. 17 1929 she married Romie Davis. He died Sept. 12, 1987.

She was a member of the United Church of Crawfordsville and the former Wyman Commmunity Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Jones, of Winfield; two grandsons; six great-grandsons; a sister Evelyn Samuels of Morning sun and two brothers, Harold Shellabarger of Columbus Junction and Charles Shellabarger of Conesville.
