Mrs. Glen Beik, a wll known resident of the Grandview community died at the Burlington hospital at Burlington, Sunday, February 18, 1962.

Ellen Velma Dunphy was born at Muscatine, October 12, 1896 and was aged 64 years, 4 months and 6 days.

She was united in marriage to Glen Beik at Wapello, August 25, 1914 and they have since made the Grandview community their home.

She was a member of the Grandview Community church and was esteemed by many friends.

She is survived by her husband and 3 daughters, Mrs. Ray (Mildred) Bieri, Letts; Mrs. Robert (Marie) Murray and Mrs. Lawrence (Betty Jo) Rowe of Grandview and one son Harlan Beik of Letts. She is survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Harry Stineman, Grandview.

The body was brought to the Stacy Funeral Home in this city and later taken to the Grandview Community church where services were held Tuesday afternoon and were very largely attended.

Flowers banked the entire front of the church.

The service was in charge of the Rev. Clyde Record. Flower attendants were Helen Hammer, Marian Kemp, Gertrude Reed, Mabel Hardman, Faith McGill and Lois Stineman.

Music was by Mrs. Jean Beiri, Mrs. Lucille Gipple and Mrs. Evelyn Larson.

Casket bearers were Walter Hammer, Paul Kemp, Burl Reed, Guy Hardman, Jess McGill and Paul Stineman. Users were Dale Schlutz and Wayne Carter.
Burial in the Grandview Cemetery.
