Robert G. Holcomb, 77, rural Letts, died Saturday morning January 21, 1984 at his home.

Services were held Tuesday at the Ralph J. Wittich Funeral Home in Muscatine, Iowa Lodge No. 2 A.F. and A.M. were in charge of the servides. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

The son of Fran G. and Bertha M. Martin Holcomb, he was born April 14, 1906 in Muscatine. He was a life resident of the area.

His marriage to Lucile Elliott took place August 25, 1931 in Rock Island, Illinois. He was past grand master ofIowa Lodge No 2 A.F. and A.M. Mr. Holcomb was a retired farmer and construction contractor.

He is survived by his wife; one son Robert E. of Olympia, Washington, three daughter, Carol Holcomb of Letts, Mrs. Charles (Margaret "Maggie") Meeker of Conesville and Mrs. Richard (Mary) Cole of Clifford Indiana; five grandchildren; and one great grancchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
