Anniversary of Sigma Kappa

Last Thursday twenty-two members of the Sigma Kappa met at the home of Mrs. Scott Stephens to celebrate their second anniversary. While part of the members were preparing a delightful kettledrum dinner, others were crocheting. The Mises Izola Venard, Jenny Coon and Grace Lloyd were invited to partake of this elegant dinner which was served at the noon hour. Mrs. Carl Werner, Mrs. Glenn Shellabarger and Miss Anna Sulzberger furnished vocal and instrumental music while others cleared away the remains of the feast.

Part of the afternoon was spent in Kensington until a business meeting was called. The following officers were elected: Miss Allie Beik, vice president, and Miss Lela Schneider, secretary and treasurer. Mrs. Carl Werner took several pictures during the day, after which all departed, reporting a very good time and hoping for another such a jolly time in the near future.
