A very pretty wedding ceremony took place at the home of Mr. Harvey McGill, two miles south of Grandview, on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The bride was Miss Mary McGill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey McGill and the groom was Mr. Emil Koehn of Davenport. The bride was handsomely attired in a beautiful white gown. The wedding pair were attended by R.H. Cockayne of Winfield, Ia., and Miss Gertrude McGill, sister of the bride. The ceremony was solemnized by Rev. M.C. Miller, pastor of the United Evangelical church of Grandview. Mr. Koehn was formerly in the employ of the Singer Sewing Co. as a demonstrator, but is at present in the employ of the U.S. government at the U.S. arsenal at Rock Island, Ill. The couple will make their future home at Davenport, Ia.
