LETTS, GIPPLE

The marriage of Miss Mae Letts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Clint Letts of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and Cellie Gipple, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Gipple of Letts, occurred Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the parsonage of the First Methodist church in Muscatine, the Rev. U.S. Smith, pastor of the church, officiating.

Miss Letts formerly made her home at Letts where she has a host of friends. About five years ago she moved with her parents to Mt. Pleasant, where she has since resided. She is an accomplished young woman and exceptionally endowed with grace, charm and talent. She is the favorite of a large circle of friends in both Mt. Pleasant and the Letts vicinity.

The groom is an excelelnt young man and a prosperous farmer living near Letts and possesses the qualities of industry, integrity and honesty, which place him as a candidate for success in the ventures of business and home life.

The young couple departed for a trip to Des Moines, and later will be at home to friends on a farm near Letts. The Republican wishes this excellent young couple the best that life affords.
