MRS. SARAH BINZ SURPRISED ON HER 84TH ANNIVERSARY

Mrs. Sarah Binz, 400 Benham avenue who has lived in this city during her entire life, a period of eighty-four years, yesterday was made the honoree at a delightful birthday surprise when a number of her old time friends and members of her family called unexpectedly at her home to spend the day.

The guests arrived during the morning and the home was brightened with clusters of large gayly colored chrysanthemums which the guests had brought with them. At noon a tempting dinner which the guests had brought with them was spread at one long table in the dining room. The centerpiece was a large birthday cake ornamented with eighty-four white lighted tapers.

The afternoon hours were given over to reminiscencing, a very happy afternoon being spent.

Those present were Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Binz and daughter Nola, Mr. and Mrs. William Biek and daughter Ollie, Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Downer, Mrs. Verda Biek, Mr. and Mrs. D. Biek, daughter Na Dean and son George, Mrs. George Biek and daughter Elizabeth, Mrs. Mollie Hardman, Mr. and Mrs. C. Biek, Mr. and Mrs. J. Snider, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hardman, Mrs. Ella Graham, Miss Marjorie Lewis, Milton Hardman, Mrs. L. Shew, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Powlin and daughter Nellie, Mrs. E. H. Dodder, Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Biek, Mrs. G. Weber and sons, Lysle and Carl, Frank Biek and Mr. and Mrs. J. Womechel.
