Miss Ellen King of Chicago, daughter of Dr. E.H. King of Muscatine, and James A. Westbrook of Letts, were united in marriage here last Thursday afternoon at the parsonage of the Presbyterian church, Rev. W. R. Coventry performing the ceremony.

The wedding was the outcome of a pretty romance, which was incepted several years ago when Miss King taught school in the Westbrook neighborhood. During the past year Miss King has been taking a course in nurses' training at the Evanston hospital. She is a young lady of charming personality and has a large circle of friends in Letts and Muscatine, who will extend heartiest congratulations.

Mr. Westbrook is a prosperous farmer residing in the neighborhood of Letts. Immediately after the ceremony the couple left for the farm of the groom, where they will make their future home.
