PARTY ENTERTAINED AT GRANDVIEW HOME

Grandview, Ia., Oct. 24 - Mabel E. and Vernon L. Jarvis entertained a company of young folks at a party Wednesday evening, October 18, at their country home three miles south of Grandview.

The affair was given in honor of their cousin C.B. Wallace. of Trenton, M., a guest at their home.

The evening was enjoyably spent with games and music. Several piano selections were given by Miss Vera Krahl. Several vocal selections were also given by Lawrence Martin, Milton Paullins, Earl Thompson and Vernon Jarvis.

The house was beautifully decorated with the chosen colors of the guest, which were orange and white.

A two course luncheon was served and at the midnight hour all departed for their homes reporting a good time.

Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Milton Paullins and daughter Marion Phillis, Mrs. Claude Hammer and daughter Elma Verlee, Misses Vera Krahl, Helen Vibber, Lafth Martin, Irma Schaffer, Bessie Cocklin and Genevieve Dumphy, Messrs. Lawrence Martin, Ed. Hammer, Glenn Persinger, Glenn Buster, Earl Thompson, Walter Hammer and Howard Snyder.
