The marriage of Miss Mabel Anna Westerbeck and Alfred L. Coon, of Columbus Junction, occurred in this city last Thursday afternoon, Sept. 14, at the Presbyterian parsonage, Rev. W. R. Coventry performing the ceremony. The young couple were accompanied by Walter and Minnie Westerbeck, brother and sister of the bride.

The bride is the charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Westerbeck, a well known family residing in the Junction vicinity. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Coon, likewise prominent residents of the county. "Pete" as he is better known to his friends, rented a farm southeast of the Junction and has been farming it this year. Here he took his bride and they are now happily at home.

They are among Louisa county's finest young folks and we are glad to extend congratulations.
