At the parsonage of the First M.E. church on Sunday, Sept. 17, at 12:30 o'clock occurred the marriage of Miss Harriet M. Farmer and Mr. Franklin Gaylord Darrow, both of Columbus Junction. Rev. C.E. Coggeshall performing the ceremony. They were attended by Dr. F. L. Darrow and Charles Springer.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.C. Farmer, prominent residents of Columbus Junction. She is a graduate of the 1916 class of the Columbus Junction high school and an excellent young lady. The groom is a son of Dr. and Mrs. F. L. Darrow, well known residents of Columbus Junction, and is a young man of promising traits. He manages his father's garage in the Junction.

This excellent young couple will be at home to their friends in Columbus Junction. We unite with their friends in extending congratulations and best wishes.
