Miss Ethel Poff, whose marriage to Ralph McGill of Grandview, is announced to take place Wednesday of the coming week, September 22, was the guest of honor at a linen shower last evening, Mrs. Theodore Weiter presiding as hostess at her home at 309 East Fourth street

The guests numbered fourteen and a very pleasant evening was spent in a social manner and with music and games, following which delicious refreshments were served.

Pink and white carnations were given the guests as favors. - Saturday's Muscatine Journal.

This comes as a complete surprise to Ralph's many Wapello friends, but is not unpleasantly received by any means. Friends will extend hearty congratulations and best wishes.
