I would like any information about Josiah P. Muntz. He is my great-great-great grandpa, I have been researching him for a while. He was born ABT. 1820 in Ohio to Peter and Mary Muntz. His wife's name was Eliza, I don't know her maiden name or when they got married. He lived in Green County, Wisconsin around 1850. From then he moved to Linn County, Iowa in the Putnam township around 1855 and lived there until around 1870. During his time in Iowa he served in the 24th Iowa Volunteer Infantry in company G. In the 1870's he moved to Smith County, KS in the Beaver township and that's where he stayed until he died. I don't know what year he died all I know is that his is buried in a cemetery in Smith Center, KS
The only two children I know he had is Irvin A. Muntz who is my great-great grandpa and a daughter named Amanda V. Muntz born ABT. 1863.
If you have any information about him or his family please feel free to email me. I would like to get as much information on my family as I can.
