I have very little information about my Bishop connection. My great grandmother, Hannah Bishop Doudney who passed away in 1932 in SD, was from Alabama according to her obit. It stated that her mother died when Hannah was 14; her father and brother were killed in the Civil War. I have nearly given up hope of learning anything since I have no names or locations. She married my ggrandfather, John, at age 18 in Cedar County, IA but her obit never mentioned that union.
