Elton A. Cleaver Dies, Succombs[sic] Lingering Illness
Elton A. Cleaver, freight conductor for the C.M. and St. P. Ry for a number of years, died Aug. 30 at his home, 969 Sixth avenue, at the age of 58 years, following an illness of over a years duration.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his three sons, Lyle and Elton at home, and Wayne, in Florida; one brother, L.B. Cleaver of Caman, Wash; and one sister, Mrs. Cora Ton of Green Gold Springs, Fla.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the home with Rev. W.J. Robinson, pastor of the Baptist church officiating. Burial was made in Oak Shade cemetery.
