Donald (Rudy) Eberle, Age 65, of Cedar Rapids, IA passed away at his home on Friday, August 26, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel Stateroom on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 4 to 7 PM. A memorial service will be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 1 PM with the Certified Celebrant, Dr. James Coyle officiating. A livestream of the service will be available on the Cedar Memorial website, under, Rudy’s obituary, under the video tab starting on Wednesday, August 31 at 1 PM. Inurnment to follow at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery-Resthaven. Everyone is invited to a gathering after the inurnment at the family home, 393 30th Street, SE, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Rudy was born on March 17, 1957 in Cedar Rapids, IA. He was the son of the late Harold E. and Barbara (Helbig) Eberle. On April 17, 1977, Rudy married the love of his life, Debra Ann Wilmot in Cedar Rapids, IA. In his younger years, Rudy really enjoyed racing cars, loved fishing, camping, woodworking, making model cars, boating. He was a huge Green Bay Packer Fan. His greatest joy was spending time with his children, and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Rudy’s memory are his wife, Debra of Cedar Rapids, IA; his children, Angela (Jamie) Eberle-Fenoglio, of Cedar Rapids, IA, Darrick Wayne Eberle of Cedar Rapids, IA, and David Ryan Wilmot of Cedar Rapids, IA; his grandchildren, Madison Eberle, Attwood Eberle, Camren Taylor-Eberle, Sarina Taylor-Eberle, Cayleb Taylor, Brennen Taylor, and Kylee Fenoglio; his great-grandchildren, Ari and Remington; his step-mother, Marion Eberle; his siblings, David (Amy) Eberle, Sr., of Cedar Rapids, IA, Collene Hansen, of Cedar Rapids, IA; step-brothers, William and John Wilmot; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-brother, David A. Wilmot.
