Theodore John Ilten, 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Ilten, 662 Nineteenth avenue SW, died at the home at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday after a short illness of cerebral hemorrhage. He was born in Cedar Rapids Jan. 16, 1930, and was a pupil in the third grade of the Trinity Lutheran school. In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister, Gertrude; four brothers, Eugene, Robert, James and Phillip, his grandfather, H.F. Ilten , and grandmother Mrs. J.H. Brammer, all of Cedar Rapids.
Funeral services will be held in the Trinity Lutheran church at 3 p.m. Sunday preceded by brief services at the family home at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. P.L. Bornhoeft will officiate and burial will be in Cedar Memorial park cemetery. Friends may call at the Beatty chapel until 9 a.m. Saturday.
