Clyde Ray Marshall, 213 A avenue NW, died at his home at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday following a brief illness. Born Nov. 24, 1879, at Springville, he had been a resident of this city for twenty-three years. For the last five years he had been associated with the Blue Valley Creamery company.
On April 25, 1911, at Crown Point, Ind. he was united in marriage to Bertha Snetzler, who survives him. He also leaves four step-children, Mrs. Harvey Froman, Opal and John Snetzler, all of Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Frank White of Atkins; one sister, Mrs. Alvah Whitney of Marion and one brother, Frank Marshall of Central City, and two grandchildren, John Wayne Snetzler and Elisabeth Joanna Froman, both of Cedar Rapids.
Funeral services will be held in the Turner chapel at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. O.G. Gatrelle will officiate and burial will be made in Raetz cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
