Wencil R. Dite, a longtime resident of this city, died at the home of his son, Joseph Dite, 631 South Tenth street, at 6:30 p.m. Monday. He was born Sept. 28, 1842 in Bohemia and was one of the oldest members of the C.S.P.S. lodge. He is survived by his son Joseph, two daughters, Mrs. H.J. Smith and Miss Susan Dite. He also leaves eight grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death eight years ago. Funeral services will be held in the Turner chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday conducted by the Rev. E.E. Burkhalter. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. The family requests that friends wishing to see Mr. Dite call at Turner chapel.
