George Allen Glessner, 11-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Glessner, 1310 C street SW, died at a local hospital at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday after a short illness. He was born Feb. 13, 1937. In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers, Charles Raymond and John Horace, a sister, Edna Mae, his grandparents, H.G. Glessner, Waterloo; Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Morningstar, Cedar Rapids, and four great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Morningstar, Tipton, and Mr. and Mrs. G.L. McCalley, Cedar Rapids.
Funeral services will be held in the Beatty chapel at 1:30 p.m. Saturday conducted by the Rev. John McKee of Brandon. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial park. Friends may call at the chapel from 7 to 0 p.m. Thursday and Friday
