Mrs. Martha M. Fishel, 65, died Saturday at her home, one and one-half miles west of Palo. Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Federated church in Shellsburg, with burial in Pal cemetery. Friends may call at the Sarchett funeral home, Center Point, before Monday. She is survived by seven children: Vernon, at home, Mrs. Zelma Zurka, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Ava Boyles, Center Point, Mrs. Leo Wright, Shellsburg, Everett, Mt Auburn and Corp Evion and Staff Sergt. John, overseas; 11 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Oscar Frank, Osage; two brothers, Joe Godden, Elkport, and Bert, Prairie du Chien, Wis.
