CENTER POINT--Charles W. Bills, 87, a retired farmer and lifelong resident of Linn county, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital. He was born Aug. 24, 1881, at Springville. On Sept. 24, 1902, he was married to Mary N. Ward at Cedar Rapids. Mrs. Bills died Jan. 25, 1953, at Cedar Rapids. On Oct. 20, 1953, he was married to Laura Colyer at Vinton.
Surviving, besides his wife, is a son, Elzo Bills of Center Point.
Services are pending at the Murdoch chapel in Center Point where friends may call after 6 p.m. Saturday.
